Been awhile, eh?

 sooo, as i said, its been a while...

school is finally rolling. yeah. i know its taken forever, but yeah. i haven't started yet, but at least i know now for sure that i am. i'm taking 5 months worth of class in 11 weeks, so that will be intense! but whatever, once that little roadblock is done, it should be pretty much smooth sailing. i'm supposed to be looking into driving school. i actually can't wait now. i'm sick of the damn bus! plus, the bus doesn't go everywhere i want to go! plus, this country is too cold to always be waiting for the bus! its like -23 C right now! thats flippin' cold for november! what's gonna happen in december now?! ahhh! yeah, and my winter coat has the phoenix coyotes on it (don't ask why!) and anyone who follows the NHL knows how bad they suck this year! with gretzky on their coaching staff, you'd think they'd be a little better, but no. anyway, speaking of hockey!!! i got to meet petr sykora, my favourite hockey player today!!!! it was amazing! he talked to me and i had no idea what to say to him! he's not only gorgeous, but he's a damn good hockey player, and i got to meet him! i got him to autograph 2 t-shirts for me, and i got my picture taken with him! it was incredible!!!! yeah, and i went and saw happy feet in the imax theatre last night! "hold on a minute, i think i hear people wanting something... oh yeah... ME!!!" haha, it was about the BEST movie ever! but yeah, other than those updates, nothing else is really new. just... working mostly for now. still at the liquor store. yay. but anyway, i should go to bed. i'm getting up to watch the oilers superskills competition! yay!

 Well, I've been boycotting xanga, because all of your college stories make me depressed. Here is my situation:

Grant MacEwan did an international transcript evaluation for me that was BULLSHIT! They said that my grades were way lower than they are, and that really pisses me off, but anyway, so I had to write the easiest english exam ever, finally got accepted to the general studies program, to find that its not gonna help me at all to get into the faculty I want at the U of A, and that my best bet is to just take some 30 level classes again for a semester, then re-apply to the U. Which, I totally don't mind doing, because in the long run, its gonna save me a year and a half of school, and 9 grand, so yeah, thats great, BUT, the upgrading program I need isn't taking anymore students with international transcripts until the winter term, so right now, I'm just chillin'. Well, not really. I'm working my ass off. I worked 40 hours this week, and I'm only hired on part time... but thats ok. Tasha Rae needs the money! Especiallly since I am paying for my upgrading, then Daddy will pay for my first year at the U. Yay. So, yeah, not much else is new. I'm going to 2 concerts this month...the Mars Volta and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the 17th, and then Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys on the 27th. And my Daddy is coming here on the 19th. But yeah, other than my new pool "habit" (my friend Emma and I play pool every wednesday night), I've been just chilling at home... As terrible as it sounds, I can't wait for my grandparents to move out of my house, so that I can make it MY house. For those of you who don't know, I OWN my own house. My parents bought me my grandparents house on the condition that they can live there as long as they want. So yeah, I have my own house, but my grandparents live with me. For any of you in Edmonton, or hell, in Alberta, I have my own bar in the basement, and I work at a liquor store... by christmas, it'll be killer, and always open! No last call, and I won't ID ya!  I can't wait til October 12th! I get my discount at the Liquor Depot! It's gonna be SO awesome! I already know what the first thing I'm gonna buy is! A Texas mickey of Jack Daniels! That's 3 litres of JD!  Awesome? I think so! Anyway, I should go. I gotta get some laundry done, then I'm gonna watch Spinal Tap! I found it at Wal-Mart for $7.50! "But these go to 11!"  Haha!!!  Miss all you guys!!!

wow, could it be? why yes! i AM updating my xanga!

so, i finally moved into the house that i am currently sharing with my grandparents (cuz i am just like SO cool!) they live upstairs, and i get the downstairs and ground level. it's actually pretty cool. i start working tomorrow, at shopper's drugmart (hell yeah.... :( i suck) anyways, i still don't really know what is going on with school... it's so frustrating! :( looks like i may have to just be a pirate after all... yay. other than that... not up to much... sleeping, eating, shopping. well, actually not sleeping... i can;t sleep. and when i finally do get to sleep, i get woken up by a nosebleed or something... it's stupid... and i miss all my friends! i only have like 3 friends here, adn the only really close one i have keeps trying to date me (he's a guy, just incase you weren't sure!!!)  and while he is sweet, he's like my brother... and we don't do that up here... anyway, my parents are driving me up the fucking wall again... they need to learn to back the fuck off... kinda can't wait til they go back to doha... sure, i'll miss them, but i can't miss them if they don't leave, eh? everywhere here is SO hot! it's that dry prairie air, adn NO AC! my house is so hot! and my grandparents are old, and always cold... so they keep it so warm in here... i like it kinda cold, but they don't. whatever. that kind of weather only lasts for like 2 weeks anyways, then it cools off. anyways, i gotta try to fall asleep, because i have to work tomorrow... yay... take care all!
